University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Theatre's latest production, Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992, explores the riots that erupted when the police officers charged in the 1991 violent beating of Rodney King were acquitted. Playwright Anna Deavere Smith, an innovator in documentary theatre, interviewed hundreds of Angelenos over 9 months, creating a mosaic of classes, professions, genders, and races that tells the story from the perspectives of multiple witnesses.

Peninsula Players Theatre has announced provide scholarships for its third year to Door County high school seniors pursuing a major or minor in arts management, music or theater. A $500 scholarship will be awarded this spring to one student at each of the Door County high schools. Applications for the scholarship are available through the Door County Community Foundation and are due by April 1, 2021.
