New Mexico’s favorite annual tradition returns! Ring in the holiday season with swirling dresses and trumpeting music. Mariachi Christmas, a showcase of the sights and sounds of Mexico at Christmas, fills Popejoy Hall with rich mariachi music and traditional ballet folklórico. Experience the show that has delighted audiences for over 25 years!
Tickets for Mariachi Christmas will be on sale for $80.50, $58.50, $45.50, and $29.50. Tickets may be purchased online at popejoypresents.com. Tickets are also available to purchase in person at the UNM Ticket Office located at the UNM Bookstore or by calling (505) 277-4569. MARIACHI CHRISTMAS Returns To Popejoy Hall In December
November 18, 2025 Popejoy Hall will present MARIACHI CHRISTMAS on December 19, continuing the theatre’s 25-year tradition of celebrating Mexican holiday music and dance. The annual event will feature Mariachi Juvenil Aztlán with dancers from the University of Texas–Rio Grande Valley Ballet Folklórico.
