Her Chicago and regional credits include: Goodman Theatre's A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Cratchit), The Million Dollar Quartet (Dyanne), Miss Hannigan in Annie at the Paramount Theatre, Heidi in Title of Show (Northlight Theatre), Georgia Hendricks in the regional premiere of Curtains (Drury Lane Theatre), Fraulein Kost in Cabaret (Drury Lane Theatre), Joan in Anyone Can Whistle (Ravinia Festival), Lena Lamont in Singin' in the Rain at both (Drury Lane Evergreen Park as well as Chicago Center for the Performing Arts) for which she received an After Dark Award as well as a Jeff Nomination, Nurse/Actress in Hello Again (Apple Tree Theatre). Guilty as charged. I openly admit I really enjoy the ABBA musical, MAMMA MIA! There is a time and place for all kinds of entertainment, and the birth of the jukebox musical can almost certainly be attributed to kind of show MAMMA MIA has become. Now 25 years after it's opening, the national tour that is playing at Shea's Buffalo this week has audiences happily enraptured with a musical comedy that serves solely to entertain. And it most certainly succeeds.

MAMMA MIA! is an electrifying and heartwarming musical that never fails to delight audiences, and the national tour I experienced last night was no exception. From start to finish, the production was filled with infectious energy, stunning choreography, and, most importantly, incredible vocal performances.
25 years after its first production, Mamma Mia! the musical is making the rounds with a stop at Milwaukee's own Marcus PAC. Famously based off the book by Catherine Johnson and featuring music by ABBA, the story centers around Sophie, who is set to get married in Greece, and the mystery of her biological father's identity.

The 25th Anniversary North American Tour of MAMMA MIA! makes its Los Angeles stop at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre beginning November 14, 2023. Reprising her role of Donna Sheridan, Christine Sherrill leads the cast of 30. Phyllida Lloyd directs and Anthony Van Laast choregraphs this three-week limited engagement. Christine managed to squeeze some time from her last couple of performances in Denver to answer a few of my queries.
