Tell us a bit about your show.

The Cat Man Curse is a narrative comedy: a 1970s detective story that follows Charles Heron, a hotshot actor famous for starring in the popular TV show Legal Matters. Everything's going great for Heron until he's struck by an ancient Hollywood Curse and finds his life is in grave danger. Heron must team up with real-life lawyer Mark Swift to get to the bottom of this terrible mystery before it's too late.

We compose all our own music and build lots of our own props and the show brings together character, physical and sketch comedy. Think fast-paced, madcap and surreal.

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

We love Edinburgh. It's such a great opportunity to spend a whole month with a show. We've been developing The Cat Man Curse for a while now: we performed it at Vault Festival in London, as well taking it to Fringe festivals in Paris and Brighton. So, getting the chance to do Edinburgh on top of that really gives you a lot of time with audiences to help discover the show: what works and what doesn't.

We're also very lucky to have a slot at Bedlam this year. It's an amazing venue that we've always loved coming to as audience members, so to be there with a show is a real pleasure.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

The show offers a blend of different styles. We have a background in both sketch comedy and theatre, so the show is a combination of those two things, but it's also full of moments of improvisation, physicality and dancing (among other things). You might say jacks of all trades, masters of none, and you'd be right. We have no physical training and we're not very good dancers. But hopefully if you like the same things we do, you'll enjoy seeing us try to make something new and original by bringing those things together in one show.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Everyone! We've performed the The Cat Man Curse to all kinds of people. Young, old, some of them really old - and they all loved it. Or they thought it was fine, or they were just being polite.

So come along if you love surreal-physical-narrative-mystery-comedies or are very polite!

Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?

Yes! Lots! Too many to put down here. But we are particularly excited to see...

Peter and Bambi Heaven - for some late-night screwball magic.

Britney in John - they're on before us at Bedlam, and we loved their show last year.

Juan Vesuvius: I am Your Deejay - very funny Venezuelan calypso comedy.

Timings and ticket information for The Cat Man Curse are available on the edfringe website.
