Tell us a bit about The Agony and the Ivories.

The show is 50 minutes of my original comedy songs at the piano. I sing of social media, self-esteem, family, nostalgia, politics, homosexuality, aging, and anything else I can think of. As the title implies, some of these songs can get me a bit riled up. Think Tom Lehrer meets Lewis Black.
I've performed my songs across the country and been featured on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend". I've released a new album entitled "Knowing Your Audience" which was recorded at the infamous Green Mill Jazz Club in Chicago, Illinois.
Why bring it to Edinburgh?
I'm hoping to gain an international audience with my songs. America's taken the brunt of my ranting thus far.....I figured I should spread it around to other countries. :)

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?
This will be the show you tell your friends about. Nowhere else at the Fringe will you see a Guy Standing in front of a keyboard complaining about whether or not he should be wearing a hat, while trying to get his own TV show called 'The Gay Balding Asthmatic".

Who would you recommend comes to see you?
Lovers of original comedy and original music.
Those who can handle material meant for mature audiences.
People who are looking for that next big comedy treasure at the Fringe.

Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?
Too many to name but definitely want to catch my talented friends in these shows:
Chicago's Stand-Up Showcase - Greenside @ Infirmary Street
Joe's NYC Bar - Assembly George Square Studios
Timings and ticket information for The Agony and the Ivories are available on the edfringe website.
