About the show:

Suzi Ruffell returns with a new hour of thought provoking and hilarious stand-up. 'Ruffell has nabbed the working-class comedy crown of her generation...

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

I like having Edinburgh in my diary as its a great chance to write an hour of brand new material that I will hopefully take on tour later in the year. Its also the biggest arts festival in the world so its an exciting thing to be part of.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

I am really excited about my show this year, it explores what it means to be a white, gay, working class woman who straddles both the small minded views of the town I grew up in and the artsy, liberal London life that I chose for myself. Now more than ever before post Brexit and one hundred arguments my family I hope to provide a refreshingly different and important take on it on whether you can ever escape the class you were born into. I also have some cracking stuff on having my heart broken and as a teenager being a member of Portsmouth's biggest reptile club.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Everyone and their mums!

Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?

Oh so many, Jenny Bede, Ivo Graham, Tom Allen, Sara Pascoe, Phil Jerrod, Rachel Parris and heaps of others.

Timings and ticket information for Suzi Ruffell: Keeping It Classy are available on the edfringe website.
