BWW speaks to Liza Pulman ahead of her 2016 Edinburgh Fringe show Everything's Coming Up Roses.

Tell us a bit about Everything's Coming Up Roses

I was asked to devise a charity show for last year's annual garden festival in the charming town of Eye, Suffolk, and so in a moment of madness I decided that every single song in the show should have something to do with a flower or a garden. What grew from this crazy germ of an idea has proved to be a fantastically eclectic list of songs which are both funny and touching. Who knew the botanical world would prove to be such a rich source of material?!

What songs can we expect to hear?

The show is musically diverse and includes songs that range from "Tip Toe Through The Tulips", to Neil Diamond's "You Don't Bring Me Flowers", "Evergreen" and even a genteel number by the music hall star Marie Lloyd called "She Sits Among The Cabbages And Peas".

Why bring the show to the festival?

Because it's the greatest festival in the world! And because I was asked!!

And you're also performing with Fascinating Aida?

I'm very excited to be back performing with the girls after far too long a break, but it does mean that I'll effectively be doing two shows a day. I'll be doing my own at 2.30pm in the Cabaret Bar at the Pleasance and then performing with Fascinating Aida every evening at 7pm in St Georges Square, so my advice would be to catch me early in the week before the bloom disappears entirely from my voice!

Who would you recommend comes to see Everything's Coming Up Roses?

EVERYONE of course!
