Jacobs Theatre, took home a Tony Award for 'Best Revival of a Musical'. After leaving the stage at the United Palace, creators Jason Robert Brown and Alfred Uhry checked it with BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge to share their initial reactions!

Ben Platt sat down on CBS Mornings to discuss starring in Parade on Broadway. Platt, who was recently nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in the production, discussed how he loved the show for a long time and why he felt that he would be an 'authentic storyteller' for the piece as a Jewish person. In solidarity with the cast, crew, and creative team of PARADE, tonight, New York City Mayor Eric Adams took the stage of the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre to address the sold-out audience of the Broadway musical revival. PARADE director Michael Arden welcomed the Mayor who condemned the antisemitic protests that happened on Tuesday night outside the Jacobs. See video of Mayor Adams' address below. 

Parade officially began previews last night at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 W 45th St), before a sold-out audience. Tony Award-winner Ben Platt and Micaela Diamond lead the 33-person cast, directed by two-time Tony nominee Michael Arden. Watch the cast take their first bows in the video here!

Today we rewind to 2015, when Parade returned to the stage with Manhattan Concert Productions. The special concert event was directed by Gary Griffin and starred Jeremy Jordan, Laura Benanti, Joshua Henry, Katie Rose Clarke and Ramin Karimloo.

Today we rewind with LoveMusik, a musical which ran on Broadway for just over a month in 2007. LoveMusik is a musical written by Alfred Uhry, using a selection of music by Kurt Weill. The story explores the romance and lives of Kurt Weill and Lotte Lenya, based on Speak Low (When You Speak Love): The Letters of Kurt Weill and Lotte Lenya. Uhry and Prince worked on LoveMusik for four years to develop it into a stage work. The story spans over 25 years, from the first meeting of Lenya and Weill as struggling young artists, to their popularity in Europe and America, to Weill's death from a heart attack at age 50. The Broadway production ran at the Biltmore Theatre (now the Samuel J. Friedman), starring Michael Cerveris and Donna Murphy.
