Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced an exhibition of photography by artist and filmmaker Jeremy Dennis, Views from Shinnecock, opens Tuesday, November 1, in the lobby of Bay Street Theater, and will be on view through Saturday, December 31, in commemoration of Native American Heritage Month.

Bucks County Playhouse’s production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber–Tim Rice musical “Evita” continues through October 30. The Playhouse released a montage of scenes from the production—including portions of 'Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Another Suitcase in Another Hall,” and “And the Money Kept Rolling In (And Out)”. Lane and Bonnie Comley hosted a celebration at their East Hampton estate for Bay Street Theater, honoring Mercedes Ruehl and Harris Yulin. Ruehl and Yulin were honored with Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center For The Arts's Joel Grey Lifetime Achievement Award as actors and for their many years of support for the East End's arts community.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is hosting a series of summertime Mini Gala Dinners and Cocktail Receptions honoring performers, artists, and patrons of the arts, including Harris Yulin, Mercedes Ruehl, and Jules Feiffer.

Artistic Director Scott Schwartz, Board members, and patrons all gathered by the water to celebrate the return after two years of virtual or socially distanced shows. Both Scott Schwartz and Tracy Mitchell spoke at the party about the upcoming season and marked the true return to theatre at Bay Street!

On Friday, May 20, 2022, one hour before the Drama League Awards, Board President Bonnie Comley, Kirk Iwanowski, Mary Jain, and the Board Hosted a VIP Reception at the Drama League Awards right next to the Ziegfeld Ballroom. While the Drama League Distinguished Performance nominees were lining up for the dais, a cocktail party was in full swing in the adjacent ballroom.

American Songbook Association recently hosted the Third Annual Gala to honor Stephen Schwartz on Monday, May 9 at 7:30 PM. Schwartz - the Oscar, Grammy and Tony-winning composer and lyricist of Wicked, Pippin, Godspell and more - received the 2022 ASA Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Little Free Food Pantry is a nationwide grassroots program that provides communities a resource to contribute food, personal care, and paper items to other members of the community with no questions asked and no prerequisites to access.

Becoming Dr. Ruth, starring Tovah Feldshuh and written by Mark St. Germain, enjoyed a successful evening for its Off-Broadway opening night at Edmond J. Safra Hall at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York on Thursday, December 16.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the founding of Bay Street Theater Student Academy, a theater academy for children and teens serving the youth of eastern Long Island.

Due to the popularity of two performances followed by onstage talkbacks with Dr. Ruth Westheimer and Tovah Feldshuh on December 4 and December 8, the Museum has added two more post-show talkbacks after 7:00 PM performances on December 15 and December 22.

Items will be available for bidding 24 hours a day, each day, by visiting the auction link at baystreet.org. Registration is required.
