The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF) announced its first annual Hungry for Laughs event - a night showcasing the talent of New York City's top chefs and comedians, highlighted by a performance by Randy Rainbow, in support of the Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC).

Comedy Central is opening its deep vault of half-hour stand-up specials for a 24-hour live stream event on the #1 brand in comedy's Stand-Up channel on YouTube that will cover specials curated from the past two decades. On World Mental Health Day, Comedy Central, in partnership with Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), a program of the National Council for Behavioral Health, today premiered its Be The Difference public service announcement (PSA) featuring Jeff Ross, Matteo Lane and Yamaneika Saunders. Comedy Central announced today that The Jeselnik and Rosenthal Vanity Project podcast is coming back for a second season as part of its Global Podcast Network. JVRP returns on September 4 and is part of Comedy Central's multiplatform development deal with the irreverent, iconoclastic comedian, which includes the upcoming comedic interview series, Good Talk with Anthony Jeselnik, premiering on September 6.
