Roundabout Theatre Company has announced additional casting for The Real Thing, starring Ewan McGregor as 'Henry,' Maggie Gyllenhaal as 'Annie,' Cynthia Nixon as 'Charlotte' and Josh Hamilton as 'Max.' Tom Stoppard's Tony Award-winning play The Real Thing, directed by Sam Gold begins preview performances on Thursday, October 2, 2014 and opens officially on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42ndStreet). The new Transformers movie, Age of Extinction, opened this Friday, June 27, in 4,233 theaters. According to Deadline, it seems as though it will be the biggest opening of 2014 to date. As of last night, it was around the $98-100 million range. The opening will beat Captain America: The Winter Soldier's $95M earlier this year. (more...)
