Rachel Potter and Marty Thomas have teamed up to present a weekly virtual cabaret series called Quarantine Cabaret. The two best friends have joined forces to appear in concert online, and each weekly show features a new lineup of guests.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, tonight (8pm), SubCulture will present Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist Jason Robert Brown's monthly Artist-in-Residency concert virtually! This special concert will be free to watch, but will encourage viewers to donate money to assist the SubCulture staff and musicians during this unprecedented time. Tonight's event will feature performances by Brown's longtime band, along with special guests Ariana Grande and Shoshana Bean. Bean, the foremost interpreter of Brown's work, returns to the Residency for the fifth time, while Grande, who made her Broadway debut in Brown's 2008 musical 13, makes her first Residency appearance. Tune in at 8pm to watch live!

Premiering on Monday, April 27 at 8 PM EDT, Brown will welcome (from their homes) his longtime band along with special guests Ariana Grande and Shoshana Bean.

The internationally renowned MYKKI BLANCO has spontaneously dropped a brand new song 'PATRIARCHY AINT THE END OF ME” on her SoundCloud. 

#BroadwaySingsOriginals is a daily marathon launched by the acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series on Instagram's IGTV. Each day, the series will release a #BroadwaySingsOriginals performance from the series, in which they collaborated with Broadway stars to arrange their specific version of an iconic pop song.

Broadway talents including Lena Hall (Hedwig), Ben Platt (Dear Evan Hansen) and Barrett Wilbert Weed (Mean Girls) will be featured in a daily marathon launched by the acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series on Instagram's IGTV.

The New York Pops will additionally honor Nicola M. Heryet, Principal of Avison Young; June Freemanzon, founding board member of The New York Pops; and Ron Schaefer, Founder of French Woods Festival for the Performing Arts, at its 37th Birthday Gala, Into the Unknown! The Songs of Kristen & Bobby Lopez, on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, presented by The New York Pops.

Finally, Our Lady J's return to musical performing after so long in the writers' room yielded a bountiful evening of new compositions and surprising covers, and though we would have wished her to dial back the electro-processing of her fine voice just a bit, this evening for modern music lovers was a daring and tantalizing night of cool vibrations, and so we award Our Lady J a fine 4 out of 5 Rainbows.

Michael Arden (Stage Director) and Stephen Oremus (Music Director) lead this one-night-only performance, featuring a chorus of over 300 singers from across the United States, professional cast and creative team, and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.
