Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts has announced their Jazz Series will return this season featuring unparalleled artistry with four upcoming performances taking place in the acoustically remarkable Steinmetz Hall supported by Massey Services, Inc. The downtown Orlando arts center is thrilled to welcome such talented artists that represent the many facets of the jazz genre all in the one-of-a-kind, multiform hall. 

Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman which opened at Broadway’s historic Hudson Theatre on Sunday, October 9, will play its final four weeks per its limited engagement run, through Sunday, January 15.

Owner Catalina Popescu has announced that Grammy-winning Jazz great Gordon Goodwin and his Big Phat Band will headline the musical celebration at Catalina Jazz Club on December 31.

Soho Rep has announced a one-week extension, to November 20, of its nearly-sold-out world premiere production of Montag, written by Kate Tarker (THUNDERBODIES at Soho Rep; Dionysus Was Such a Nice Man) and directed by Dustin Wills (Wolf Play, presented by Soho Rep & Ma-Yi Theater Company; Frontières Sans Frontières).

In the episode, the teachers are appalled after seeing a commercial in support of charter schools criticizing Abbott Elementary. When students begin to transfer schools, they invite the leader of the charter school organization (Leslie Odom Jr.) to Abbott and ask him to take down the ad.
