Glee creator Ryan Murphy was the guest on the first episode of the 'And That's You REALLY Missed' podcast, which deep dives into a behind-the-scenes look at the hit musical series. Murphy reveals that the character of Mr. Schue, played by Matthew Morrison, was originally written for Justin Timberlake and had a meth addiction.

The Beach Boys and Sixthman, creators of festivals on sand and at sea for more than two decades, have announced the star-studded lineup for the second sailing of The Beach Boys Good Vibrations Cruise, presented by Club Kokomo Spirits and sailing March 3-8, 2023 from Miami, FL to Harvest Caye, Belize and Costa Maya, Mexico aboard Norwegian Pearl.

Tara has a performance background strengthened by her lifelong passion for the arts that led her to land pivotal roles on Broadway (Hairspray, Jersey Boys, and one of the latest movie-turned-musicals to hit the Broadway stage, The First Wives Club.) She also starred as Amber in Hairspray at the Hollywood Bowl opposite Nick Jonas and John Stamos.

The series will pull the curtain back on the good and bad experiences of Glee's cast and crew. The series will also feature testimonies from close friends and family, revealing never-heard-before stories. The docu-series will also have exclusive access to Glee cast and crew members, who will give their personal stories.

Henry Holt, a division of Macmillan Publishers, has acquired actor John Stamos’s memoir, If You Would Have Told Me. Stamos is the critically acclaimed, Emmy-nominated actor whose multifaceted career spans four decades. Executive Editor James Melia acquired the book from Esther Newberg and Kristyn Keene Benton at CAA.

An initial batch of episodes will also be rolled out on Disney+ and on-demand platforms this fall. In anticipation of the new season, which features a 'Glow Webs Glow' storyline, a collection of 10 animated shorts introducing our trio of young Super Heroes — Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy and Miles Morales — to new friends and baddies.

Eric Krebs & THEATER555 will present a staged reading of Last Day by Richard Vetere. Inspired by the William Butler Yeats quote, 'The beautiful and innocent have no enemy but time.' Last Day is a vigorous exploration of love & friendship at the end of the 20th Century.

The musical comedy teen drama Glee will make its return to streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

Stars in the House for Ukraine, an 11+ Hour telethon of the weekly streaming show, raised $139,000 for the International Rescue Committee's humanitarian efforts for those affected by the war in Ukraine. That total is inclusive of a generous matching donation by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, which matched the first $50,000 worth of donations.

The channel will also highlight encore programming that has included Disney Legend, Hayley Mills, John Stamos, Kristin Chenoweth and more, plus segments from our “Be Our Guest 4 The Day” series featuring Lin-Manuel Miranda, voice talent from “Encanto,” and more.

More celebrity guests have been added to Stars in the House For Ukraine – the 10-hour telethon to raise money and awareness for those affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. Hosted by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, the show will air live on Saturday, March 26th from 12:00pm ET – 10:00pm ET.

Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley announced today that their Stars in the House series will host a 10-hour telethon to raise money and awareness for those affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. Ariana DeBose, Amber Riley, Kevin Bacon, Charli D'Amelio, Jenna Dewan, Baz Luhrmann, Rob Marshall, Kenny Ortega, and more will honor iconic films such as “Singin’ in the Rain,” “Moulin Rouge!,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Chicago,” “Dirty Dancing,” “Saturday Night Fever” and “La La Land” in the new special.
