As previously announced, tonight, November 5 (8pm EST), The Wonderful World of Disney presents The Little Mermaid Live!' will honor the 30th anniversary of the beloved animated classic through a never-before-seen hybrid format that will take viewers on a magical adventure under the sea as live musical performances by a star-studded cast are interwoven into the broadcast of the original feature film.

The stars of “The Wonderful World of Disney presents The Little Mermaid Live!” celebrated the upcoming live musical event on the turquoise carpet on Monday, Nov. 4, in Burbank, California.

Shiri Appleby has been cast as 'Holly,” the good-humored and down-to-earth assistant basketball coach, and Yvette Nicole Brown has been cast as 'Sherilyn,' the no nonsense dean of Westbrook School for Girls, in the Disney+ original series “Big Shot” written and executive produced by David E. Kelley and Dean Lorey and produced by ABC Studios, a label of Disney Television Studios.

John Stamos has been cast in the lead role in the Disney + original series, a?oeBig Shot,a?? written and executive produced by David E. Kelley and Dean Lorey and produced by ABC Studios, a part of Disney Television Studios. Brad Garrett (a?oeSingle Parentsa??), who pitched the original idea to Kelley, is an executive producer on the one-hour dramedy, as is Bill D'Elia who will direct the first episode.
