The Milburn Stone Theatre at Cecil College is ready to present the longest running American show on Broadway, Chicago, for the first time in its twenty-eight-year history. Chicago was originally written as a play in 1926 by Chicago tribune courthouse reporter, Maurine Dallas Watkins. Chicago was famously turned into a Broadway musical by John Kander and Fred Ebb and directed and choregraphed by Bob Fosse. Chicago was the winner of the 1997 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. The 2002 film adaptation went on to win six academy awards including “Best Supporting Actress” and “Best Picture.”

The Recording Academy® welcomes the newest inductions to its distinguished GRAMMY Hall Of Fame®, continuing its ongoing commitment to preserving and celebrating timeless recordings. This year's additions recognize a diverse range of both single and album recordings at least 25 years old that exhibit qualitative or historical significance. Recordings are reviewed each year by a special member committee comprised of eminent and knowledgeable professionals from all branches of the recording arts, with final approval by the Recording Academy's National Board of Trustees. With 26 new titles, the Hall, now in its 47th year, currently totals 1,114 recordings. The 2020 GRAMMY Hall Of Fame inductions are available to stream via a playlist here.

On December 17, 2019, John Cameron Mitchell joined Michael Cerveris, Edward Carter Simon (Big Easy Award nominated Hedwig in New Orleans 2019) and Kimberly Kaye (Big Easy Award winning Yitsak in New Orleans 2019) onstage at Chickie Wah Wah in New Orleans for a very special version of Stephen Trask's 'Origin Of Love' during the Loose Cattle band's annual Christmas hootenanny, A Very Loose Cattle Christmas.
