Essential Voices USA, Judith Clurman, Music Director and Conductor, announced the release of WASHINGTON WOMEN, a new collection of choral songs by David Chase and Judith Clurman.

The texts are taken from speeches, opinions, and interviews of sixteen remarkable women from across the political spectrum, all of whom spent part of their lives associated with Washington DC - including Abigail Adams, Madeleine Albright, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Betty Ford, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Kamala Harris, Elena Kagan, Michelle Obama, and more.

Director/Producer Shannon Cohn, along with executive producers Rosario Dawson and Corinne Foxx hosted the Los Angeles Premiere of BELOW THE BELT last night (Saturday, October 1) at the Directors Guild of America in Hollywood. The film is also executive produced by Hillary Rodham Clinton and Mae Whitman. Madison Wells, producer of Company, Hadestown, Slave Play, and Inheritance on Broadway, will develop a film adaptation of STATE OF TERROR, written by former Secretary of State, U.S. Senator and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and New York Times best-selling novelist Louise Penny. Clinton and Penny will also serve as executive producers.

While filming a virtual benefit for the York Theatre, Andre De Shields was surprised by two producers and a Senator.

Senator Brad Hoylman surprised the Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winner André De Shields with a Senate Proclamation on Thursday April 8th, 2021 proclaiming the day “André De Shields Appreciation Day”. The surprise proclamation was arranged by producer Tom D’Angora to honor the extensive charity work Mr. De Shields has done for the community this year.
