Skylight Music Theatre has announced a one-day sale on Monday, July 25 for A Jolly Holiday: Celebrating Disney's Broadway Hits, running November 18 – December 31, 2022. Performances take place in the beautiful Cabot Theatre at the Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway, in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward. Skylight is Milwaukee's professional Equity music theatre company. 

Last week, Disney on Broadway's two New York productions, Aladdin and The Lion King, celebrated a special milestone: between the two shows, we've welcomed over 1 million guests since Broadway reopened last fall! Go inside the celebration in a new video!

D23 Expo 2022 is back this fall (September 9-11) and Disney On Broadway will give fans a chance to immerse themselves in their favorite Disney musicals. Using virtual reality (VR) headsets, guests can participate in musical numbers from Aladdin, Frozen and The Lion King, including “Friend Like Me,” “Let It Go,” and “Circle of Life.”

This July, Covent Garden, the central London home of entertainment, dining and shopping, and Disney on Stage have joined forces to bring magic and wonder to visitors through a series of exclusive experiences inspired by spectacular West End productions including Frozen, The Lion King, Mary Poppins and newly launched Beauty and the Beast.

There is a new lion queen in The Lion King! South African native Pearl Khwezi recently assumed the role of 'Nala' in The Lion King on Broadway, in which she previously appeared in the ensemble and covered both Rafiki and Nala. Watch as Pearl chats more about her new starring role and so much more!

William Shakespeare's joyous and popular comedy Much Ado About Nothing will open at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, the professional theatre on the campus of DeSales University. The show previews July 13 and 14, opens July 15, and runs through August 7 in the Schubert Theatre at the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts.

The acclaimed, record-breaking run of Disney's Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation, created and directed by Jonathan Rockefeller, announced today three new summer events for audiences of all ages: a sensory friendly performance, nostalgia nights, and themed Hunny Hunt dessert partners throughout the city.

Broadway & Beyond: Access for Stage Managers of Color will host its first hybrid networking event in New York City on Monday, September 12, 2022, continuing its mission to provide opportunity, education and vital industry connections for stage managers of color.

All new photos have been released from the West End production of Mary Poppins, as Louis Gaunt takes over the role of Bert. Gaunt replaces Charlie Stemp whilst he performs as Bobby in the Chichester Festival Theatre production of Crazy for You this summer. 

The final extension has been announced for the West End run of the Olivier Award-winning Mary Poppins which will celebrate its final West End performance at the Prince Edward Theatre on 8 January 2023. 

Disney Theatrical Productions, under the direction of Thomas Schumacher, Broadway Dallas, and Broadway Across America (BAA) have announced casting for the Dallas engagement of Disney's Frozen.

The 2022 Jimmy® Award for Best Performance by an Actor was presented to Nicholas Barrón representing Las Casas Foundation's Joci Awards. The 2022 Jimmy® Award for Best Performance by an Actress was presented to Kendall Becerra representing The Broadway San Diego Awards.

Steve Fickinger, The Tony Award-winning producer who worked on shows such as Dear Evan Hansen, The Lion King, and Newsies passed away suddenly last week.

Single tickets for Disney’s Aladdin will go on sale to the public on Thursday, June 23 at 10 a.m. The hit Broadway musical will begin performances in Schenectady at Proctors on Tuesday, October 11 for a limited engagement of two weeks through Sunday, October 23.

Marking its 25-year anniversary, the world-famous, award-winning musical is set for a historical 4-week run in the UAE capital from November 16 to December 10 at Yas Island's Etihad Arena.
