Playwright Lucas Hnath was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Later his move to New York led him to study Pre-Med, but soon he changed his major to Dramatic Writing, where he studied at Tisch School for the Arts earning a BFA, and subsequently following an MFA. Hnath is the playwright of 10 Dramatic works. His Broadway Debut and most notably his best work A Doll's House Part 2, debuted on Broadway in April of 2017 and closed in September later that year. Commissioned by South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, California, Hnath's contemporary spin/sequel to the Ibsen classic starred Laurie Metcalf, Chris Cooper, Jayne Houdyshell, and Condola Rashad. Metcalf later went on to win a Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her portrayal of Nora Helmer. Subsequently, Hnath's work was also a nominee for Best Play at the time.

Topdog/Underdog officially begins previews on Broadway tonight, September 27. The production opens at the John Golden Theatre on October 20. Meet the cast bringing the story to life!

Emmy Winner Margo Martindale, Emmy Nominee Molly Parker, Rachel Bilson and Jack Davenport, J. Harrison Ghee and Ian Anthony Dale have joined the cast of Accused, which also features Malcolm Jamal Warner, Karen LeBlanc, Wendell Pierce, Baron Vaughn, Sean Kleier, Rhea Pearlman, Aaron Ashmore and Tony Award nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced its 52nd season, featuring six plays and musicals to be presented November 2022 through August 2023. Three of the season's productions will be mounted at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, and three will be staged at Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre. HBO Max has released the official trailer for the animated comedy THE PRINCE, created by Gary Janetti. All 12 episodes of the series will premiere tonight at midnight (PT), THURSDAY, JULY 29, on HBO Max.

Injoy Fountain will take the stage, along with Jaslyn Alexander and Koko Blanton, in a concert at Roxy's Downtown this Saturday night, June 26, 2021, at 7pm. Injoy will be singing classic tunes by Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, and Miley Cyrus, among others. Fountain's band includes Rich Bruhn on keyboards, Dale Black on bass, Jerome Porter on sax, and Corey Rolfe on drums.
