About Bill productions will present a three-night run of About Bill at The Other Palace – The one woman show starring Kim Ismay, running from 7-9 October 2022.

Dublin alt-rock / postpunk artist Ava Vox presents the single 'Silent Tear', the latest dark rich offering from debut album 'Immortalised', an 8-track collection that is dark and delicious, gothic-infused and evocative of shady places and shadowed lands. Launched in 2020, Ava Vox is the solo moniker of Elaine Hannon, formerly of 1980s gothic rock / post-punk band The Seventh Veil. A Dublin native, she now lives in County Meath. With a unique vocal timbre and commanding delivery, her musical style ranges from goth rock and post-punk to slow melodic atmospheric and dynamic rock.

Today (Thu 5 May) Assembly Festival, adds a further 90+ shows to its biggest and most dazzling line-up to date which includes returning Fringe favourites, theatrical debuts, international circus, comedy newcomers and the return of The Flick - Assembly’s late-night den off George Square. During August, self-proclaimed Duchess Diane Chorley will be hosting live entertainment at The Flick until 5am.

James Marais and Monique Cassells' new oldies tribute show, “Back To The Seventies – '70s Tribute”  features memorable songs by great artists from the diverse decade of the 1970s. 

The Fleshtones—Keith Streng, Peter Zaremba, Bill Milhizer, and Ken Fox— haven't stopped rocking since their 1976 debut at CBGBs. Pumping out hits for over four decades, they were the first band to play at Irving Plaza and Danceteria in Manhattan, Maxwell’s in Hoboken, NJ, and the first to be booked at the original 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C.

The show features songs you know and love by the artists from the '50s, '60s, '70s and '80s, such as Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Cliff Richard, Cher, the Platters and Creedence Clearwater Revival, as well as the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Roy Orbison, ABBA, Queen and Neil Diamond.

It's clear that taking time out of his schedule was a big deal for Sir Cliff. Sadly, this fan wishes they'd just waited for the tour.
