Off-Broadway's Good Morning New York opened Saturday night at the Players Theatre.

Fellowship for Performing Arts announced today that Robbie Simpson (Afterglow, 'Dietland') will complete the cast for the New York premiere of PARADISE LOST.

Good Morning New York, written by Emmy® award-winning journalist Jacklyn Thrapp, explores the behind the scenes culture of local news – especially in NYC. It has all original songs about the Staten Island Ferry, The Plaza and even a six minute tap dance number in a diver bar.

Fellowship for Performing Arts announced today complete casting for the New York premiere of PARADISE LOST, written by award-winning playwright Tom Dulack (Incommunicado, Kennedy Center Prize for New American Drama; Road to Damascus) and directed by Michael Parva (Irena's Vow, Martin Luther on Trial). Performances begin on Wednesday, January 15, with opening night set for Wednesday, January 22, at Theatre Three at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036) for a run through Sunday, February 23, 2020. A Sip With Vodka, Paige Turner and Friends is a variety show hosted by drag performer Paige Turner and Natasha Ivonevska Solyanka Split Pea Vodka (played by actress Sarah Lazarus) at Club Cumming. This epic night will feature the cast and creative team members of A Sip With Vodka: A Russian Guide To Becoming A Real Housewife And Making It In America, a new digital comedy series. A Sip With Vodka follows the story of a Russian immigrant who moves to NYC with her son in the hopes of becoming a Real Housewife and cabaret star. All of GTG's programming, inspired by the works of George Bernard Shaw, are designed to provoke peaceful discussion and activism.

Michael Colby and Paul Katz, the creative team behind Tales of Tinseltown, have another Hollywood musical in the offing. On Saturday, November 2nd at 7 pm, The Green Room 42 presents Slay It With Music In Concert a?" to benefit International Rescue Committee. The original musical, acclaimed in both London and off-Broadway, is an ode to Grande Dame Guignol, the genre of 1960s horror movies in which stars like Bette Davis and Joan Crawford made screen comebacks, in the tradition of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, Sunset Boulevard, and Psycho. It's a sharp way to cap off Halloween weekend, promising laughs, thrills and chills. The Green Room 42 is on the 4th Floor of YOTEL at 42nd Street and 10th Avenue. The concert version features an all-star cast, directed by Charles Repole with musical direction by Phil Reno.
