In Provincetown, Massachusetts, the board and artistic director of the Provincetown Theater have announced the third annual Provincetown American Playwright Award (PAPA) will be presented on August 15 to the trailblazing, gender-bending playwright Charles Busch for his outstanding contributions to the American Theater.

The Tennessee Williams & New Orleans Literary Festival will host a star-studded celebration of Tennessee Williams and his life in New Orleans. This free online event will premiere Friday, July 31 at 7pm CST and remain online for viewing for two weeks.

Two-time Tony Award nominee Alison Fraser and writer-director Aaron Mark have released a free studio recording of the horror monologue play SQUEAMISH. Written by Mark specifically for Fraser, SQUEAMISH premiered Off-Broadway in 2017 at Theatre Row, presented by All For One Theatre.

Pascal Productions has announced a new French production of Wendy Beckett's A CHARITY CASE presented by Claire Merviel Production. The translated production, titled UN ESPOIR, will be presented in French at the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet in Paris from March 4 to March 28, 2020. The production is written and will be directed by Wendy Beckett, translated by Dominique Hollier.

Fellowship for Performing Arts announced today that the New York premiere of Paradise Lost will extend due to popular demand. Originally scheduled to conclude its run on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020, Paradise Lost will now play an additional week, through Sunday, March 1, 2020. 

Written by award-winning playwright Tom Dulack (Incommunicado, Kennedy Center Prize for New American Drama; Road to Damascus) and directed by Michael Parva (Irena's Vow, Martin Luther on Trial), PARADISE LOST just opened last night, January 22, at Theatre Three at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036) for a run through Sunday, February 23, 2020. A Sip With Vodka and Friends is a cabaret comedy Russian infused extravaganza hosted by aspiring cabaret star Natasha Ivonevska Solyanka Split Pea Vodka (Sarah Rachel Lazarus) and her son Robert (Andy Vega). This epic night will feature the cast and creative team members of A Sip With Vodka: A Russian Guide To Becoming A Real Housewife And Making It In America, a new digital comedy series.
