Pioneer Theatre Company has announced the full cast of Shucked, a new Broadway bound musical, which will have its world premiere at PTC from October 28 through November 12, 2022.

Alex Newell will host the Theatre Under The Stars Lights Up Gala this year on October 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Astorian located at 2500 Summer Street.

The acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series has announced additional performers for their next large-scale event, Broadway Sings Whitney Houston at Sony Hall. On the eve of her birthday, August 8, Broadway Sings will welcome a starry cast of Broadway talent including Adrianna Hicks (Six), Kyle Freeman (A Strange Loop) and Alysha Deslorieux (Hamilton), singing new arrangements of the hits of the late pop legend, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra.

The company of the new musical comedy, The Last Supper, is getting ready for performances at South Orange Performing Arts Center, where the show will run July 27 through August 7. The Last Supper (July 27-August 7 at SOPAC) is the new musical comedy about five liberal grad students sharing a house in a conservative college town who, in their efforts to save the world, host a collection of their neighbors for a friendly evening of dinner and discourse. Disney+ has premiered “Say It With Pride: Disney+ Celebrates Pride 365.” The variety special features Alex Newell performing 'We're All in This Together' from High School Musical, Alan Menken and Nina West performing 'Sheridan Square,' and Angelica Ross and the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles performing 'A Million Dreams.'

The world premiere engagement of the new musical comedy, The Last Supper, taking place this summer at South Orange Performing Arts Center will star Tony Award nominee Charlotte d’Amboise, Mark Evans, and Alex Newell. With book, music, and lyrics by Jeremy Desmon and Jeff Thomson, The Last Supper is based on the film of the same name.

Singer/tapper Luke Hawkins brought an extraordinary evening of singing, dancing and laughter to the Birdland Theater on Monday, June 20.  The show was a love letter to these art forms, as Luke paid homage to the history of tap dance greats. Check out photos here!

FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present ‘THE FUNCTION: A Queer Juneteenth Concert Celebration.’ The March On Broadway team is reuniting to bring you “THE FUNCTION;” A queer centered concert celebration of the powerful black history that is Juneteenth, featuring black Broadway, TV, and Recording Stars from across the gamut.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present a historic evening with two legendary Broadway stars Anita Gillette and Lee Roy Reams for the first time on Monday, June 13 at 7:00 PM.
