Apple TV+ has announced the premiere date for the first installment of its highly anticipated animated adventure trilogy “WondLa,” hailing from Skydance Animation and based on the New York Times bestselling book series “The Search for WondLa” by Tony DiTerlizzi. Showrun and executive produced by Bobs Gannaway, and featuring a star-studded voice cast, the seven-episode first season of “WondLa” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, June 28.  

OUT NOW: Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur: Season 2 Original Soundtrack. The season two original soundtrack features 12 new songs from the series and is now available on  Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music and other digital platforms. Grammy Award-winner Raphael Saadiq serves as the series executive music producer.

Tracee Ellis Ross (American Fiction, Black-ish), Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live, Fire Island), Abbi Jacobson (Broad City), Jay Ellis (Top Gun: Maverick, Insecure), Andrew Dismukes (Saturday Night Live), Lennon Parham (Minx), Gary Anthony Williams (Night Court), and John Waters (Hairspray) will all make appearances. Kimiko Glenn ('Orange Is the New Black') stars in the titular role of Kiff, whose thirst for life takes her on countless adventures through their city alongside Barry, voiced by H Michael Croner ('Craig of the Creek'). The series also features Lauren Ash and James Monroe Iglehart (as Kiff’s parents), Rhys Darby, Kate Flannery and Eugene Cordero.

Disney unveiled the video trailer for the animated series 'Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.” It was also revealed that previously announced guest stars Jennifer Hudson and Daveed Diggs will voice Mane and Rat King, respectively, two villains that will be featured in the first season (and can both be seen in the trailer).

Hailey's On It, a new animated series starring Moana's Auli’i Cravalho, has gotten a series order from Disney. Cravalho will voice the main character, with Manny Jacinto and Gary Anthony Williams also in the cast. Auli'i was also seen in NBC's Rise and as Ariel in The Little Mermaid Live.

Actress and singer Diamond White ('The Bold and the Beautiful,' Disney's 'The Lion Guard') will star as Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl) in Disney Channel's highly anticipated animated series 'Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur,' slated to premiere in 2022.
