Emmy Award-winning late-night talk show host and producer Jimmy Kimmel will return to host the 96th Oscars in 2024. This marks Kimmel's fourth time hosting. Before hosting in 2023, Kimmel hosted back-to-back broadcasts in 2017 (89th Awards) and 2018 (90th Awards).

Now in its 34th year, the one-year writing program helps emerging, diverse writers secure their first staff writer assignment on a Disney series, in addition to offering mentorship and advanced professional development.

In anticipation of the new season and in celebration of Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 4, Derek Hough will be a guest to talk about the new season of the smash-hit series “Dancing with the Stars,” which will air this fall on ABC and Disney+, and stream next day on Hulu. Plus, music group SHINEDOWN performs in studio!

“Dancing with the Stars” will make history once again becoming the first series to simulcast across both ABC and Disney+ for its upcoming 32nd season, and will be available the next day on Hulu. Beginning this fall, the beloved show will reach audiences across multiple Disney platforms in their respective time zones. 

The animated series will star original voice talent including Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Stephen Root, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick and Lauren Tom. The reboot has been in the works since the 2017 San Francisco Sketchfest, where Judge and Daniels reconnected with the cast and celebrated the 20th anniversary of “King of the Hill.”

Selena Gomez has shared a new TikTok from the set of Only Murders In the Building, revealing that Meryl Streep has joined the cast of the upcoming season. The new video features Gomez with her co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short, plus Paul Rudd, Andrea Martin, and Streep. They will be joined by Jesse Williams.

Broadstream and wild project will present the first season of WAY DOWN, a new musical web series featuring six original songs by Nini Camps, Stephen Kellogg, Deon’te Goodman, and Kent Coleman.

Quinta Brunson created and stars as Janine Teagues, the cast also includes Tyler James Williams as Gregory Eddie, Janelle James as Ava Coleman, Lisa Ann Walter as Melissa Schemmenti, Chris Perfetti as Jacob Hill, William Stanford Davis as Mr. Johnson, and Emmy® Award winner Sheryl Lee Ralph as Barbara Howard.

Disney+ has green-lit a pilot for “Witch Mountain,'' a reimagining of the successful film franchise. The series is a modern reinvention of the cult classic that takes place in the shadow of “Witch Mountain,” following two teens that develop strange abilities and discover their sleepy suburb may not be as idyllic as it seems. 

In addition to Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland) as star and executive producer, Season Three cast members include: Vincent D’Onofrio (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Daredevil), Ilfenesh Hadera (She’s Gotta Have It, Baywatch), Lucy Fry (Bright, Vampire Academy), Antoinette Crowe-Legacy (Geechee, Passing). Based on a hit Australian television format, “The Parent Test” will explore the many distinctively different parenting styles. From helicopter to child-led parents, 12 families are put under the microscope in the ultimate parenting stress test and will share learnings about emotional hot-button topics that compare the multiple styles of parenting.
