New Jersey Playwright's Contest has selected Zoe Sarnak's A Lasting Impression as one of three 2013 finalists. The reading will feature Aaron Albert (Disney's "I'm in the Band"). The winner of this year's competition will receive a full production at the Hunziker Theatre in Summer of 2014.

A Lasting Impression was the official selection for Pace New Musicals 2012. As the winner of PNM, it received a 1-month workshop and 7 performances in January 2012. In August 2012 Marlo Hunter directed in a showcase production of A Lasting Impression (6 performances) at the 4th Street Theatre at New York Theatre Workshop featuring Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal) and Barrett Wilbert Weed (Lysistrata Jones).

The New Jersey Playwrights Contest (NJPC) supports the work of emerging New Jersey playwrights and composers by showcasing their work to the public through staged-readings and a full production of the winning play and musical.

Zoe Sarnak (Writer) Zoe Sarnak is a composer, lyricist and playwright. She graduated from Harvard University in 2009 magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Sarnak wrote the book, music and lyrics for The Quad, developed and performed at Harvard's Loeb Experimental Theatre. Her music has been showcased in concerts including Cutting Edge Composers, NYTB D-Lounge, Composers Sing Composers, A Very MARY Holiday Gala at Playwrights Horizons and many more. Sarnak's Mixtape was featured in Silent Street Productions 2012 season. A Lasting Impression, winner of Pace New Musicals 2012, was performed off-Broadway at the 4th Street Theatre at NYTW in August of 2012.
