Holly Kapler is a Liberty High School senior in Bakersfield, Calif. with a love for children and animals. But the straight A student's goals differ from many of her peers - her dream is to become professional circus clown that entertains children. To fulfill this dream, she is raising funds to attend Mooseburger clown camp in Minnesota via the Indiegogo web site (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/mooseburger-or-bust).

The campaign, whose goal is $1,950, is set to end June 29. It was just last summer that Holly attended Mooseburger's Clown Arts Education Camp where she learned how to be a clown from some of the best clowns in the country. It was such great and inspirational experience for Holly that she decided she wanted to go again to prepare herself for a career as a circus clown.

"It was an amazing and inspirational week at clown camp. And when it was over, I tearfully left with praise and encouragement. Since then, all I've been able to think about was graduating and going back again this year, free to begin a life under the big top," she said. "I'm asking for a hand. Not a big hand, just enough to get me back to Mooseburger and one giant step closer to the life I've always dreamed of."

Mooseberger Clown Arts Education Camp is a six-day intensive training program in Buffalo, Minnesota aimed at giving participants a chance to learn and experience of what real clowns do. Having grown up with a love for clowns and the entertainment they provide children and adults alike, Holly has made it her goal to become a circus clown and bring joy to everyone, especially children.

As a straight A student ith a 4.0 grade point average Holly could have chosen almost any college to attend, but she instead chose clown camp! "I love the circus. The tradition, the laughs, the thrills. The chance to see America or the world, and all those smiling faces," she said. "What better life could there be? But you can't just paint your face and join the circus. Like any art form, it requires lots of study, practice and dedication. But it also requires funding."

Among the perks for donors is a one-hour juggling lesson, autographed 8-by-10 color photo of Holly, a pie to the face by Holly which includes a photo of the moment itself and more.
