Dunwoody's own professional theatre, STAGE DOOR PLAYERS leaps into spring with Hail Mary!, by Tom Dudzick, directed by Dina Shadwell, featuring Stage Door favorite, Theo Harness (full cast below). The show opens on Friday, March 25 and runs through Sunday, April 17. Performances are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 8pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm. Single tickets are on sale now at the box office (770-396-1726), or online at www.stagedoorplayers.net. Tickets are $30; senior, student, and youth discounts are available.

Stage Door Players is located at 5339 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338, approximately one block south of the Mt. Vernon Road and Chamblee Dunwoody Road intersection, in the North Dekalb Cultural Arts Center.

Meet Mary, a plucky novice, brave enough to do battle with Mother Superior, and a staunch defender of that "old time religion". Mary puts her future as a nun in serious jeopardy when she dares teach the children her personal, unorthodox views of God and his commandments. Her dream of Sisterhood is threatened further by the untimely arrival of her childhood sweetheart, declaring his love. Will Mary give it all up for the love of a man? Or will she listen to the mysterious priest who appears and declares Mary the world's next savior?

This comedy/drama is directed by Dina Shadwell, as was Miracle on South Division Street, by the same playwright, produced at Stage Door in 2014 to audience and critics' delight.

The cast is led by Atlanta veteran and Stage Door favorite (On Golden Pond, Visiting Mr. Green), Theo Harness; Eliana Marianes, returning to Stage Door for the first time since Lend Me A Tenor; Ann Wilson, most recently with the company in Dancing at Lughnasa; Suzanne Zoller in her Stage Door debut; and Jeff K. Lester, in his professional debut.

The production/design team includes Jim Alford (Costume Design), Hayley Brotherton (Production Manager), Kathy Ellsworth (Props Design), Rial Ellsworth (Sound Design), Julie Skryzpek (Stage Manager), Chuck Welcome (Scenic Design), and John David Williams (Lighting Design).

Tickets start at $30 and are available online at www.stagedoorplayers.net or by calling the box office at (770) 396-1726. Senior and student discounts are available.

Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm.
