Take a break from holiday shopping, the same old parties, and the usual seasonal performances for an irreverent buT Loving romp through holiday traditions and iconic stories when Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and them some!) comes to the Capitol Center for the Arts' Spotlight Café on Thursday, December 5, at 7:30pm. From Rudolph and the Grinch to Scrooge and George Bailey, you'll laugh until you cry as you revisit all your favorites - with a few quirky twists.

Instead of performing Charles Dickens' beloved holiday classic for the umpteenth time, three actors decide to perform every Christmas story ever told - plus holiday traditions from around the world, seasonal icons from ancient times, topical pop-culture references and every carol ever sung. This madcap romp through the holiday season has become a favorite at theaters around the country.

New Hampshire's own Buck Hill Productions brings this production to life with the best local artists, favorite music and direction by John McCluggage who directed last year's hit musical COLE at the Capitol Center's Spotlight Café and Every Christmas Story Ever Told at Red River Theatre. McCluggage's most recent projects include Hound of the Baskervilles at the Barnstormers Theatre and A Midsummer Night's Dream at Webster University; he has directed and taught at theaters all over the country. The cast includes Christine Penny, a frequent performer on NH's seacoast, most recently seen in Shakespeare in Prescott Park as Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Ed Batchelder, winner of a Seacoast Spotlight Award for his performance as Mr. Applegate in Damn Yankees, and Dan Beaulieu, a UNH alum who has performed all over the Granite State, appears regularly in "ShakesBeerience" at the Press Room in Portsmouth and now resides in NYC.

Tickets are $15 and are available now by calling 603-225-1111, online at www.ccanh.com, and at the box office, located at 44 South Main Street, Concord, NH 03301, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
