And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Billy Crystal, who turns 68 today!
Actor, comedian, TV host, writer and producer Billy Crystal made his Broadway debut with 700 SUNDAYS in 2004 and returned with a revival in 2013. The solo show won the 2005 Tony Award for Special Theatrical Experience and both the 2005 Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for solo performance. Crystal rose to fame in Hollywood in the '80s and '90s, with roles in films such as WHEN HARRY MET SALLY..., CITY SLICKERS, ANALYZE THIS and MONSTERS, INC. and several appearances on SNL. He has hosted the Oscars nine times, a record that comes in second just behind Bob Hope, who hosted 19 times. Crystal recently appeared opposite Josh Gad in the short-lived TV series THE COMEDIANS.
