Paulson has appeared on Broadway in Collected Stories and The Glass Menagerie. Among her off-Broadway credits are Talley's Folly, Still Life, Crimes of the Heart, Colder Than Here, Killer Joe and Talking Pictures. Currently starring in the fourth season of American Horror Story, Paulson also played characters in the first three parts of the popular FX horror anthology series. The actress also graced the big screen in the Oscar-winning drama 12 Years a Slave.
