Victoria Theatre Association continues the late night REEL LATE AT THE VIC movie series at the historic Victoria Theatre. 2016's REEL LATE series kicks off with cult favorite THIS IS SPINAL TAP, Saturday July 16 at 10:30 p.m. Other cult classics in the Series are THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW and NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Tickets are on sale now at Ticket Center Stage. To purchase, call (937) 228-3630, toll free (888) 228-3630 or purchase online at www.ticketcenterstage.com.

Remember coming to the late show back in the day at the Victory (now Victoria)? Well, whether that's part of your youth or not, join us for three 10:30 p.m. showings of some great late-night film fare. The Series kicks off with 1984's THIS IS SPINAL TAP, starring Christopher Buest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer and is directed by Rob Reiner. One of England's loudest bands, Spinal Tap, is ready to turn the amps up to eleven. One of the first "mockumentary's," that has audiences rocking out and laughing throughout the Rated R movie. The movie is so good, Black Sabbath's Ozzy Osbourne actually thought it was a real documentary!

Join us at 10 p.m. for music from c.wright's Parlour Tricks before each REEL LATE AT THE VIC film this summer. Playing a fiery brand of instrumental guitar-wrangling that gets toes tappin', heads turnin' and ears a'buzzin' - this is the new wave of boogie. This is a bar band for the 21st century, with plenty of pedal-pushing in addition to fret-bliteration. When these guys are on, they're on FIRE.

Come in costume to the show. Judges will be wandering around the lobby ready with an award for the best THIS IS SPINAL TAP costume we see: a drink voucher for the Reel Late at the Vic bar. Plus, you can enjoy free popcorn and a cash bar with a movie-themed drink special before the show.

Tickets for THIS IS SPINAL TAP are $6 each or passbook of 10 tickets for $35 and can be purchased at Ticket Center Stage.

The Presenting Sponsors for the VTA Cool Films Series are the Ohio Arts Council, Montgomery County and Dayton City Paper.
