Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen recording artist Travie McCoy has announced the release of his much anticipated new single. "Rough Water (Feat. Jason Mraz)" made its world premiere today at 9a.m. ET at McCoy's own www.traviemccoy.com and is available now at all digital providers.

"Rough Water" features multi-Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Jason Mraz and marks McCoy's first new solo effort since 2010's blockbuster solo debut, "Lazarus," which spawned the 2x RIAA platinum smash "Billionaire (Feat. Bruno Mars)." The new single also finds McCoy reuniting with hit-making producer Benny Blanco (Maroon 5, Katy Perry, Wiz Khalifa), who collaborated with McCoy and his band Gym Class Heroes on their chart-topping, multiplatinum single "Stereo Hearts (Feat. Adam Levine)" in 2011.

"Rough Water" debuted on the nationally syndicated "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" this morning, followed by an exclusive interview with McCoy. A companion video clip is currently in production, with a premiere date to be announced soon. A full length album is expected in 2014.

Having now amassed collective sales of over 2 million albums worldwide and more than 10.2 million digital singles, Travie McCoy and Gym Class Heroes first shot to global stardom in 2007 with the worldwide #1 hit, "Cupid's Chokehold/Breakfast In America." The single set the record for holding the top spot on the CHR/Top 40 radio charts for the most consecutive weeks by a band and helped earn them the prestigious "Best New Artist" prize at the MTV Video Music Awards that same year.

As a solo artist, Travie caused a multi-format commotion with "LAZARUS" and its lead single, the 2x RIAA platinum, top 5 smash, "Billionaire (Feat. Bruno Mars.)." With over 3.4 million sales to date and official YouTube views approaching 150 million, "Billionaire" instantly catapulted Travie to the forefront of modern pop.

2011 saw Gym Class Heroes earn their second #1 with "Stereo Hearts (Feat. Adam Levine)," the lead single from their fourth Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen release, "The Papercut Chronicles II" The single ruled the top spot on the CHR/Top 40 chart for 3 weeks and went top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart while racking up sales of more than the 3 million. Further hits followed, including the top 5 CHR/Pop favorite, "Ass Back Home (Feat. Neon Hitch)," and the powerful "The Fighter (Feat. Ryan Tedder)," both of which have been certified platinum for sales exceeding 1 million.

As is tradition, GCH made a victory lap of TV appearances, including NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, ABC's 2011 American Music Awards, the nationally syndicated Ellen DeGeneres Show, and ABC's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, not to mention a now-classic teaming with Levine and Maroon 5 for a special performance of "Stereo Hearts" on NBC's Saturday Night Live.

Long acclaimed as dynamic, genre-smashing live performers, Gym Class Heroes has toured with a wide variety of like-minded artists including Lil Wayne and The Roots while also topping the bill on the Vans Warped Tour and countless cross-country and international headline tours.
