LAX Nightclub inside Luxor Hotel and Casino welcomed hip-hop legend Too $hort for a special performance Saturday, Sept. 14. Arriving to the mega-club just after 1:30 a.m., the music icon had hundreds of beautiful ladies flocking to the main stage as he took his place at his VIP booth. Joined by a large entourage, the West Coast rapper settled into his seat as he took in the sights of the packed nightlife destination.

Nearing 2 a.m., Too $hort began to take clubgoers back in time as he began his performance with his popular hits including "Gettin' It" and "Shake That Monkey." Before he led into his next song, the rapper addressed the crowd, "I want to ask you a question LAX," he said. "Who's ready to party with me tonight?" He then selected a lucky lady from the audience to dance atop the main stage with him as he MC'd "I'm A Player," bringing the entire nightclub to their feet.

As he brought his set to an end, Too $hort thanked his fans that have supported him throughout the years as he playfully mentioned to the crowd, "I think you know this one," dedicating his most well-known hit to them "Blow The Whistle." The crowd soared with excitement, dancing and singing along to the chart-topping song with the hip-hop legend. The laidback artist was proud to announce his newest collaboration with Lady Gaga and to let his fans know to look out for "Jewels and Drugs" off Gaga's upcoming album ARTPOP to be released this November.

It was also a star-studded event as three-time, GRAMMY Award-winning songwriter/producer Stevie J made a surprise appearance at the hot spot joined by his leading lady Joseline Hernandez from VH1's hit reality show, "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" there to catch Too $hort's unforgettable performance. Too $hort welcomed the beloved couple to his VIP booth where they posed for pictures and partied together into the early morning hours.
