The widely buzzed about new rising star MC, who earlier this year mixed and mastered the hit single "Flip Ya B*tch" by Frank Kush feat. Nu Jerzey Devil, has been busy pushing his musical message to the masses both as a rapper/songwriter with live performances at venues such as Belasco Theatre with headliners like kirko Bangz and as a sought after producer by up and coming acts in Los Angeles and beyond with his team at the Kush Club. Lyda also scored big recently with his widely received High Scores Mix tape featuring the tracks "Bad News" and "Keep You Here". He also previously released his debut, the critically acclaimed "The Blueshift EP", in 2012.
Lyda, who was born Ryan Mielke in Long Island, NY has always had music in his soul and a desire to be the best. He began recording and writing music at age 13, becoming proficient in pro tools and mixing techniques by age 15. He also taught himself three musical instruments (guitar, bass and drums) before spitting his first verse at age 16. At age 18 he left Long Island on a mission and has never looked back. He graduated from the highly accredited Full Sail University in 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Recording Arts and moved to Hollywood California, where he began recording and producing for local artists in LA while at the same time writing and creating his own lyrics and music and building his empire one song and one artist at a time.
