On Monday, June 20, Tony winner Laura Benanti will headline BROADWAY AT THE BOAT BASIN- a gala benefiting the Riverside Park fund. The event will be held at O'Neals' West 79th Street Boat Basin Café in the historic Rotunda, in Riverside Park. Dinner will begin at 7:30PM and Benanti will perform at 8:30PM.

Our honorary chairs are currently starring in Planet Green's hit show The Fabulous Beekman Boys, about their lives as gentlemen farmers in upstate New York. Manhattanites as well, they are long-time fans of Riverside Park, and Brent used to jog through the park on his way to Josh's former downtown home. From their farm and store, Beekman 1802, in Sharon Springs, they promote the small-farm movement and heirloom produce and products.

Ms. Benanti appeared in two recent Lincoln Center productions: Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown; and In the Next Room or the vibrator play. She won a Tony for her riveting portrayal of Gypsy Rose Lee in the 2008 revival of Gypsy and was a three-time Tony nominee for her roles in Nine, Into the Woods, and Swing! Ms. Benanti has also starred in ABC's Eli Stone and FX's Starved.

Riverside Park Fund's mission is to preserve and improve New York's classic waterfront green space. Stretching over four miles along the Hudson River from 59th to 158th Streets, the 330 acres of Riverside Park provide recreation and relaxation for a uniquely diverse population. From seasonal attendants to rehabilitated playing fields, from horticultural projects to creative playgrounds, Riverside Park is cleaner, greener, safer and better because of Riverside Park Fund's supporters.
