The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County has announced its 11th season of showcasing Broadway's greatest hits in the Ziff Ballet Opera House with a six-show subscription package that is power-packed with musical blockbusters and a jaw-dropping illusion show spectacular. The 2016 / 2017 Broadway in Miami season includes two anticipated South Florida premieres - THE ILLUSIONISTS - LIVE FROM BROADWAY (October 11 - 16, 2016), a "high-tech magic extravaganza" (The New York Times) featuring seven of the most incredible Illusionists in the world; and AN AMERICAN IN PARIS (December 27, 2016 - January 1, 2017), a breathtaking musical of romance, redemption and hope with music by George and Ira Gershwin.

The 2016 / 2017 Broadway in Miami season also includes DIRTY DANCING - THE CLASSIC STORY ON STAGE (November 29 - December 4, 2016), the passionate love story of Baby and Johnny featuring sensational dancing and classic hits such as "Hungry Eyes," "Do You Love Me?" and the heart-stopping "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life"; BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL (February 14 - 19, 2017), the award-winning inspiring true story of King's remarkable rise to stardom complete with her multiple, timeless hits "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling," and "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman"; JERSEY BOYS (April 4 - 9, 2017), the Tony®, Grammy® and Olivier Award-winning musical about Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Four Seasons boasting their legendary hits "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You"; and Rodgers + Hammerstein's THE KING AND I (May 9 - 14, 2017), the 2015 Tony® Award winner for Best Revival of a Musical featuring a score of treasured songs including "Whistle a Happy Tune," "Getting to Know You," and "Shall We Dance."

Plus, a favorite returns to the Arsht Center as an add-on to the subscription series: ANNIE (March 3 - 5, 2017), "one of the best family musicals ever" (Chicago Tribune) with a memorable score including the ever optimistic "Tomorrow."

The 2016 / 2017 Broadway in Miami subscription season is presented by Florida Theatrical Association, Broadway Across America and the Adrienne Arsht Center.
