9 TO 5 Comes to Playhouse on the Square

Pushed to their boiling points, coworkers Violet, Judy, and Doralee concoct a plan to get even with their sexist, egotistical, and bigoted boss. In a hilarious turn of events, they live out their wildest fantasies - giving their boss the boot! While their boss remains "otherwise engaged," the women give their workplace a dream makeover taking control of the company that had always kept them down. Set in the late 1970s, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought provoking, and even a little romantic.

Tackling the iconic roles of Violet, Judy, and Doralee are Jeanna Juleson (Sister Act, The Country House), Jenny Madden (Dirty Blonde), and Nicole Hale (Xanadu). Joining this powerful trio are Playhouse on the Square Resident Company Member Michael Detroit (Billy Elliot the Musical; Les Miserables) as Franklin Hart Jr., Associate Company Member Danny Crowe making his Playhouse on the Square debut as Dwayne Rhodes, and Rebecca Johnson (The Secret Garden) as Roz Keith. 9 to 5 is directed by Gary John La Rosa (American Idiot; Les Miserables).
