A new theatre work-in-progress written, choreographed, and directed by Parbati Chaudhury, with music by Archita Kumar. The ensemble work dips into the fictional world of three close friends – Padma, Brinda, and Suhana - in the final weeks of Suhana’s long-wanted pregnancy. The naturalistic script is layered with pedestrian movement, other-worldly kathak, and an evocative score, offering a visceral experience on sisterhood and shifting cultural values. This event is for those 16+. Part of Bloomsbury Festival’s New Wave programme, a platform for emerging talent. New Wave Theatre supported by Bishop & Sewell.
