Strategic Love Play is a new comedic exploration of modern dating, written by Miriam Battye, known for her work on Succession. This razor-sharp, not-quite-romantic comedy follows a man and a woman who meet after matching online, beginning their encounter on the wrong foot yet gradually revealing their vulnerabilities. As they navigate the complexities of connection in the digital age, the play examines themes of love, loneliness, and the truths we often hide from ourselves. Directed by Matthew Gardiner, this production is set to premiere at Signature Theatre from September 23 to November 9, 2025.
