According to Spring Awakening's website, the hit Broadway musical is collaborating with the popular teen drama "DeGrassi: The Next Generation" for a unique discussion event that will take place on April 30th at 2 PM in midtown Manhattan.

"You can be part of the first ever Live Verbal Mashup featuring cast members from the hottest musical on Broadway, Spring Awakening, and the cast of the The-N Channel's hit show 'Degrassi: The Next Generation.' This unprecedented event will be moderated by a special celebrity host and webcast internationally by AOL Red as we discuss pertinent topics that relate to each show," states the website.

"Audience availability is on a first come, first serve basis; so send in your ticket request to mashuptickets@gmail.com early.  Ticket requests are for 2 tickets (you and a friend).  If you are not able to use both tickets, please indicate in your email. We don't want any seats to go dead.  Audience members must be able to get themselves to NYC, midtown on Monday, April 30th at 2PM, and be between the ages of 15 – 20 years old (ID required).  No one over the age of 20 will be admitted into the audience..

"All ticket holders will receive an email with ticket pick-up directions and more information within 48 hours.  Tickets are subject to availability.  If you can get yourself to NYC on that day, please email mashuptickets@gmail.com with the following information:

1) Full Name
2) Age
3) Male/Female
4) Contact/Cell Phone Number
5) A question to ask the cast of 'Degrassi' and/or Spring Awakening (optional).
The first 100 people to respond will get a pair of tickets.  By requesting tickets, you allow us to use your image in all press and promotional materials."

Based on the 1891 Frank Wedekind play of the same name, Spring Awakening features a score by Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Duncan Sheik and book and lyrics by Steven Sater. The show, which follows a group of teenagers as they deal with the trials and tribulations of adolescence, is directed by Michael Mayer and features choreography by Bill T. Jones.
