Alumnae Theatre Company presents New Ideas Festival 2019 (March 6-24)Join us in Alumnae Theatres 3rd floor Studio for New Ideas Festival since 1988, its an annual, three-week, juried festival of new works and works-in-progress. The opportunity to see premieres of new dramatic writings from both emerging and experienced theatre artists has made the festival a must-see for Toronto theatre-goers for 31 years. Each week(Wed Sun) features a different program of four short plays, plus a workshopped reading of one full-length play each Saturday.Performances of weekly program: Wed - Sat at 8pm; Saturday & Sunday matinees at 2:30pm.Staged readings: Saturdays at noon.Tickets: $15/wk for weekly program (4 short plays). Toronto based theatre company, Nautanki Bazaar will present its debut production AN IMM-PERMANENT RESIDENT. Written and performed by Neha Poduval & Himanshu Sitlani and directed by Miquelon Rodriguez, AN IMM-PERMANENT RESIDENT will premiere at the Theatre Centre as part of the RISER Project 2020 from April 12-19, 2020 with the Opening Night on Monday, April 13 at 7pm.
