Come Closer is an upcoming chamber opera by composer Ryan Trew and librettist Rachel Krehm, exploring themes of grief, reconnection, and healing after loss due to drug addiction. The production features Rachel Krehm in the role of Big Sister and soprano Jacqueline Woodley as Little Sister. Set to premiere in June 2025 at the Canadian Opera Company, this deeply personal work will be highlighted in a sneak preview concert on April 16, 2025, as part of the COC's Free Concert Series.
