Village Square Theatre will hold open auditions for our youth production SLEEPING BEAUTY, An Adaptation by Debra Leopard on Saturday, April 25 at 2:00 PM and Sunday, April 26 at 7:00 PM at Village Square Theatre in Lexington. If necessary, a call-back date will be announced for specified Auditioners during the audition process prior to final casting.

Village Square Theatre closes the season with Neil Simon's The Odd Couple (Female version). Unger and Madison are at it again! Florence Unger and Olive Madison, that is, in Neil Simon's hilarious contemporary comic classic: the female version of The Odd Couple. Instead of the poker party that begins the original version, Ms. Madison has invited the girls over for an evening of Trivial Pursuit. The Pidgeon sisters have been replaced by the hilarious Constanzuela brothers.

The Footlight Players serves up a heaping helping of southern-fried comedy with Sordid Lives by Del Shores. Directed by Don Brandenburg, this uproarious comedy tells a story centered on a variety of colorful characters. The play opens March 20 at 8:00 PM at The Footlight Players on 20 Queen Street. Rachel York Launches Series Of Symphony Concert Appearances

Broadway leading lady Rachel York, most recently seen in the world premiere musical Turn of the Century at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, will launch a series of symphony concert appearances this month. Now through April, the versatile stage, screen, and recording artist will be a guest soloist performing the works of Bernstein, Richard Rodgers, and Andrew Lloyd Webber with major orchestras across the country.
