DIRGE is an hour-long improvised, instrumental art rock soundscaping performance, with Helo Samo on guitar and pedals, radio, samples, accordion, percussion and drums, Frank Lunar on viola, bass guitar and percussion and Caitlin Mkhasibe on drums, percussion and valiha. A dirge is a song of grief delivering people from pain. The light that calls people does not remove memories as the deep pit grows wider, swallowing all smiles and joy. DIRGE will make contact and see what happens, in an alchemic, sonic experience accompanied by independent self-narrated visuals.
