The Turn of the Screw Photos - West End

The Canadian Opera Company has unveiled its 2026/2027 season, featuring a Canadian world premiere, two new-to-Toronto productions on its mainstage at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, and an additional new work from Opera 5, the COC’s Company-in-Residence, to be performed at the Canadian Opera Company Theatre.

English National Opera will continue its partnership with Greater Manchester with two semi-staged concert performances of Mozart's comic masterpiece Così fan tutte at The Bridgewater Hall on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 February 2026.

The Harold Clurman Laboratory Theater Company is presenting a limited engagement of Henry James' classic horror tale The Turn of the Screw in an adaptation by Jeffrey Hatcher under the direction of Don K. Williams, featuring Sean Spann and Emily Sulzberger playing a total of 10 roles between them. It's a tale of a young governess just before the turn of the last century who is tasked with the care of two rather peculiar children at a country estate in England. Within a week of arriving, the governess comes to believe the children are possessed by the previous groundskeeper and governess who have since died. But is that really the case?

The Turn of the Screw is a co-production with English National Opera. Timothy Sheader directs with music by Benjamin Britten, Libretto by Myfanwy Piper and after a story by Henry James.

 Artists Repertory Theatre presents I and You by Lauren Gunderson as the final production of their 2017/18 season. Gunderson is the most-produced playwright in America for the second year in a row. She is a recipient of a Dramatist Guild Award, the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, won the 2018 Steinberg for The Book of Will, and won the Steinberg American Theatre Critics Association New Play Award in 2014 for this revelatory drama. I and You runs from May 20 through June 17 on the Morrison Stage.

This thrilling production of Henry James' much-loved classic ghost story is faithful to the original and captures its much-celebrated ambiguity.

Portland Shakespeare Project presents the world premiere of Pericles Wet, by Portland playwright Ellen Margolis. Commissioned by Portland Shakes, Pericles Wet is a masterful adaptation of William Shakespeare's Pericles directed by Michael Mendelson. The show will run from December 1 to December 17 on Artists Rep's Alder Stage.
