The New-York Historical Society held their annual History Makers Gala on November 6 at 583 Park in New York. This year's honorees included New-York Historical Trustee Dr. H.M. Agnes Hsu-Tang, who received the New-York Historical Society Medal of Merit for Public Engagement; Harry Potter editor Arthur A. Levine, who received the New-York Historical Society Distinguished Service Award; and world-renowned entertainer and celebrated Harry Potter audiobook voice actor Jim Dale, who received the 2018 History Makers Award in recognition of the exhibition Harry Potter: A History of Magic, now on view at New-York Historical.

Live In The Vineyard today announced the addition of artists for the nineteenth installment of the exclusive music, food and wine festival that takes place amidst the lush scenery of boutique wineries in Napa Valley, California November 3-5.

They're changing the cast at Thriller Live with eight new dancers joining the 15th Longest Running Musical in West End history - all making their West End stage debuts. The youngsters joining the cast this week are on 12-month contracts that will see them in the show when it starts its 10th anniversary West End celebrations at the Lyric Theatre in January 2018. Last night, Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's production of THE ENTERTAINER opened at Garrick Theatre. Rob Ashford directs a cast that also includes Gawn Grainger, Phil Dunster, Jonah Hauer-King, Crispin Letts, Sophie McShera, Greta Scacchi, Lauren Alexandra, Yasmin Harrison, Pip Jordan and Kate Tydman.

Rehearsal images are released today for the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's THE ENTERTAINER, the final production in the year-long Plays at the Garrick season. The production will play at the Garrick from 20 August until 12 November, with press night on 30 August. The Entertainer will also be broadcast live to cinemas across the UK and internationally on 27 October.

The Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company, in partnership with Picturehouse Entertainment, has confirmed that the date of the final Branagh Theatre Live cinema broadcast of this season will be The Entertainer at 19:00 on Thursday 27 October 2016. The Professional Dancers Society's (PDS) Gypsy Awards Luncheon, honoring singer, dancer and choreographer Paula Abdul, legendary entertainer Dick Van Dyke, and famed choreographers Kevin Carlisle and Carl Jablonski, took place on April 24, 2016 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.
