The 6th Annual Elly Awards Luncheon was hosted earlier this afternoon by The Women's Forum of New York benefiting The Education Fund of the Women's Forum. The awards, named for the Women's Forum founder, Elinor Guggenheimer, honored outstanding women leaders, including Kay Koplovitz, Rosie Rios, and Hamilton's Phillipa Soo.  BroadwayWorld brings you a photo preview from the special day below!

Welcome back to Washington Heights! At yesterday's performance of Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Christopher Jackson were visited backstage at the Richard Rodgers Theatre by former IN THE HEIGHTS co-stars Mandy Gonzalez and Priscilla Lopez. Miranda posted a photo of their visit on Twitter, along with the caption 'The Rosarios came back home.' - check it out below!

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Javier Muñoz - Lin-Manuel Miranda's alternate in the Tony Award-winning musical Hamilton on Broadway and the actor who portrayed AlexanderHamilton when President Barack Obama saw Hamilton last July - will step into the title role starting July 11 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St.), it has been announced byHamilton producer Jeffrey Seller. Mr. Miranda's final performance in the Broadway production is set for July 9.

The annual Educating for Justice gala sponsored by the John Jay College Foundation Board of Trustees raised over $800,000 gross - a record amount - and drew 325 friends and supporters of the College.
