Following a record-breaking three-year West End residency, sold-out UK & Ireland Tour and Amazon studios award-winning film, the smash-hit and critically acclaimed musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie will return on a major UK & Ireland Tour from September 2023.

Back in 2017, few could have imagined the success of a show about a teenage drag queen. Ever since it blasted its way onto the stage in 2017, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie has been a sensation here and as far away as Japan. Now on a nationwide tour, the true-life story of a 16-year-old wannabe drag queen is still as entertaining and relevant as ever.

The star studded film, stars the breakout discovery Max Harwood as Jamie New, alongside Sarah Lancashire, Lauren Patel, Shobna Gulati, Ralph Ineson, Adeel Akhtar, Samuel Bottomley, with Sharon Horgan and Richard E. Grant.

The UK Tour will recommence  its travels around the country, opening at The Lowry from 1 September and visiting 24 venues  including a four-week Christmas season in Brighton. The tour will also pause for six weeks in January  as the show opens in Los Angeles for a run at the prestigious Ahmanson Theatre. The UK tour will then  recommence playing to end May 2022. A second UK tour is planned for 2023. 

Despite the current capacity restrictions in the UK, a number of West End productions are soldiering on under social distancing guidelines. Along with the likes of SIX, Amélie and Les Misérables: The Staged Concert, one hit show that is leading the charge in London is Everybody's Talking About Jamie at the Apollo Theatre.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie, the much anticipated film adaptation of the award-winning West End hit musical, will launch exclusively on Prime Video on September 17, 2021 in over 240 countries and territories.

According to Deadline, the film adaptation of Everybody's Talking About Jamie has been again delayed by Disney. The release of the movie, which was first set for October 2020, then January 2021, is now 'unset'.

Shane Richie, fresh from 2020's 'I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!', will return to play  Hugo / Loco Chanelle in Everybody's Talking About Jamie from 5 January 2021.
