Today marks the one-year anniversary of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, bringing the grand total number of the times Jefferson Mays, who plays all eight doomed members of the D'Ysquith family, has died on stage in the hit musical comedy to a staggering and historic 3,336 (and counting).

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Carole Shelley and Catherine Walker just took over the roles of 'Miss Shingle' and 'Phoebe D'Ysquith' in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, which won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Musical. Tony Award winner Jefferson Mays, star of the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, is the latest featured artist in The Creative Faces Project: an evolving portrait and interview collective of artists inspiring the New York stage. Pamela Bob, from the cast of the Tony Award-winning 'Best Musical' A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, will perform a solo show at 54 Below on Monday, October 6 featuring the songs of Ellen Mandel and Michael Lydon. Directed by DJ Salisbury, the theatrical evening, entitled Hat, Hat Chapeau will tell the story of three women through jazzy ballads, lyrical settings of modern poetry, and bluesy funk. Pamela will also go on in the role of Sibela in A Gentleman's Guide for the full week leading up to her performance at 54 Below.

It was announced today that Catherine Walker will take over the role of 'Phoebe D'Ysquith' in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, which won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Musical, beginning Tuesday, October 28.

It was announced today that Tony Award-winner Carole Shelley will join the cast of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, which won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Musical. She will be stepping into the role of Miss Shingle on October 28th. Jane Carr, who originated the role, will play her final performance on October 26th.

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) has secured licensing rights to Broadway's newest Tony Award-winning BEST MUSICAL, A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER. GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE was the most-nominated show of the season, with 10 nominations and the winningest new show, taking home 4 Tonys (BEST MUSICAL, BOOK, DIRECTION, COSTUMES). It also earned seven Drama Desk Awards (including BEST MUSICAL), four Outer Critics Circle Awards (including BEST MUSICAL), and one Drama League Award (BEST MUSICAL).

NBC's 'Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' will rebroadcast the musical performance by the cast of the Tony Award-winning production A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER tonight, June 26th. Other guest appearances on the show will include Jennifer Lawrence and Craig Robinson.

Back in April, I had the pleasure of reviewing A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER (Original Broadway Cast Recording). My initial thoughts were that the recording was witty and intriguing, but without the context of the show I couldn't really connect with it. Conversely, I got to see a recent performance of the Tony Award winning comedic musical. Upon revisiting the album, I can't shake most of the deliciously clever songs.
